Sweet Sugar Easter Challenge

It is Easter over at Sweet Sugar Challenges, so here is my Easter card!
I have just joined the design team over there, do pop on over to see my fellow DT members cards, they are just fabulous!

I used my lovely duck in boots Sugar Nellie stamp, I think he is such a cutie although my DH thought at first glance that it was a boy wearing a helmet!!!! ( he thought the bill was a face with 2 eyes)

I used my lovely swiss dots embossing folder on all the patterned paper I love this effect! I used my nestabilities to create the greeting and found the post that I first saw this idea using punches. It was on the blog of extremely talented Claudia, my fellow DT member on Cute Card Thursday, you can see her version here!

This is how you position your scalloped circle back into your nestie die cutter, I use a bit of tape to hold it still only sticking it to the back.
this is how it comes out!

Supplies: Tools ~ cuttlebug, nestabilities, swiss dots embossing folder
Cardstock ~ Burgundy and white
DP ~ K & Co ' Margo' collection
Stamp ~ Sugar Nellie 'duck in boots'
Embellishments ~papermania brads, sentiment made on PC

Really darling little duck card Deb!! Although I have to confess, I thought it was a boy in a helmet too, and had to go back and look again - LOL! Very very cute! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
