Not quite a tutorial but a few peeps asked me to show how the gift bags were made a while back, I know, I am very late at putting these up!
Anyway, here is the brown bag I used, once you have one of themes it is very simple!

Then the bag is ready to decorate any way you would like, here are the other 2 teacher pressies I made for the end of term. Many thanks once again to Camilla for the inspiration!

Ismaki #28 ~ birthday bag

The Ismaki sketch #28 this week was designed by Kianel, as soon as I saw it I knew it would produce some very special cards. I have seen a few of them and they are stunning!
Here is my take on the sketch, took me ages to even decide what to do with it!
I used a paper bag as my base and turned over the bottom of the bag then folded the rest in half to make a kind of book. The top edge of the bag remains open so I can use it to pop in
images or a gift card.
I used Magnolia stamps from the new Summer Party set, these are the perfect stamps for a birthday, I love the glass of fizzy! I only just realised though that I coloured the bottles of wine red and they are in an ice bucket, doh...well maybe they are sparkling rose! Yes, of course that is what I meant to do!!!
Here you can see the opening ready to pop in images to send as a gift to a friend!
Supplies: Brown Paper bag
DP ~ Basic Grey 'Infuse'
Stamps ~ Magnolia 'Summer Party', Basic Grey ' Winterland'
Embellishments ~ flowers all from Prima, Charm K & Co 'Beyond Postmarks', Dovecraft Charm Brad, pearls Kaiser from TracyJaneCrafts, spacers from Jeneca-beads, brad, lace and ribbon all unknown origin

A spoonfull of sugar ~ for the boys

Here is my card for this week's A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge the theme this week is
One for the boys!
Our super talented Camilla has donated a fab new stamp for the candy this week, a Sweet Art Ebony stamp from Sugar Nellie.
I have used my new Karate Kid stamp from Sugar Nellie, it was waiting for me when I got back from holiday and I knew it would be perfect to use for this challenge.
I have coloured it to look like my nephew who is becoming a teenager in a couple of weeks, he even has the yellow belt so that was the inspiration for the colour scheme. Luckily, I had this fabulous Crate paper which has hints of yellow in it but still looks like masculine.
I did do a bit of stamping on the paper as it looked a little bare at first.
The fab coins came in my lovely little birthday package from Camilla.
Don't forget to enter into my blog candy draw in the post below!
Supplies: Cardstock ~ cream textured, DCWV textured white core
DP ~ Crate 'new garden collection'
Stamps ~ Sugar Nellie 'Karate Kid', Autumn Leaves 'ticketed' 'for the record 2' 'big swirls'
Embellishments ~ coins and photo corners in RAK from Camilla, Dovecraft brads, photo turns and ribbon from stash, photo hanger from hardware store
