Whimsy DT card ~ Memories

I was so excited to receive my new Whimsy DT stamps at the weekend, I couldn't believe how fast they winged their way across the Atlantic!
I didn't know which one to do first so I stamped and coloured them side by side. Emma was first to be made into a card though! Ladies first! She is called 'Rainy Day Emma'! She is available to buy along with Baseball Connor now!
I popped Emma onto the inside of the card as the front has a collagey effect and she got lost sitting on top of it. I much prefer her here and the style of the card means that it will probably be displayed open.
I was in a real stamping mood yesterday and just couldn't stop, I stamped and inked up everything in sight! As I had coloured Emma in sepia tones I decided she needed a nice vintage type card ~ my favourite type!
The gorgeous letter style stamp is by crafty individuals which I bought at the Craft Barn with a voucher I won at Ismaki! The text and butterfly stamp are from a set by 7 Gypsies it is called Notting Hill. I have used this set loads since I bought it from the Glitter Garden a couple of months ago. I stamped the butterfly first, masked it, then stamped the text over it.

I made my own flowers again, the only way to get a great match and of course gives you a very economical embellishment!

The journalling sheet comes from a spiral bound pad by Making Memories.
A close up of darling Emma, she is such a sweetie. I can't wait to try her in all my favourite colours! No doubt you will see her in pink very soon!

Supplies: Stamps ~ Whimsy Stamps 'Rainy Day Emma', 7 Gypsies ' Notting Hill', Crafty Individuals 'CI-214'
Inks ~ Distress Inks 'Tea Dye', 'walnut stain' and 'antique linen', Colorbox dark brown chalk inkpad, Stazon jet black
DP ~ Basic Grey 'Motifica', K&Co 'name unknown'
Embellishments ~ EK Success flower punch, L-Em leaf punch, Woodware small flower punch, eyelets, ribbon, charm, gold thread, MM 'spiral journalling book Paperie Mocha', page from old book

Gorgeous card Deb. Love the way you've coloured in Emma. Yummy papers also. I got my package today and I can't wait to ink them up. I think I'll put the clock forward a bit so the kids will go to bed early, lol. Hugs Michele x
