Scrapbook Steals Guest Design Spot

I was so thrilled to be asked to be a guest designer for the
my favourite store for all of my scrapbooking supplies!
I got to create with these 2 fabulous Martha Stewart Punch all over the Page punches.I do already own a Martha Stewart all over the page punch so I was already a huge fan, I love how you can punch right in the middle of a sheet of paper instead of having to go around the edge or cut into the paper first.  I just wish I had more time to play so that I could create apertures in my layouts, that will be my next project for sure!
These punches are so versatile and so easy to use.
You can see my guest spot over at the Scrapbook Steals Blog and be sure to check back regularly as they have regular challenges, giveaways, tips and tutorials every day!

These punches are just perfect for me as I love to make my own flower embellishments, especially with the same
coordinating patterned papers!
first up I made this......
The letters were cut on my Cricut with the Storybook cartridge and using a 6x6 pad of Authentique Uncommon, (a former steal from Scrapbook Steals!)
I then punched out multiple flowers and fronds using the Martha Stewart punches, inked the edges and then dry embossed them for more definition.
Then the fun begins....layering all the flowers up!
Here is how it looks on my craft room wall!
Although the possibilities are endless with these punches I couldn't help myself but make more decorations....for a gift bag and notebook gift set.
I used the same papers as before this time using some of the backing card for some of the leaves.

Thank you so much for your visit today xxx

WOYWW

I missed WOYWW last week as we had family arriving.   Our Mums are staying for a month and so my craft room is now a guest room.  I did manage to make something on my desk before I gave it up!
To see what I made you will have to pop back tomorrow, sorry, can't show before then! A little sneak peek on my desk though, you can bet it has stitching on it!
The wildlife pic of the week.....

Hope you can join in with WOYWW, you can find all the details over at Julia's blog.

One I made earlier....

I totally forgot to post this on here, it featured in the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine issue 7 way back in February!
This card was made as part of a collaboration with Whimsy Stamps, Little Miss Muffet stamps and Make it Crafty.

I used the Whimsy Stamps Vintage Travel Postage Stamps, Little Miss Muffet La Petite Princess and Make it Crafty Fancy Balcony.
The image is coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.
The paper is My Minds Eye.
I am on a mission to unpack a lot of boxes today and as a reward  I am giving myself permission to craft afterwards, it has been over 5 weeks so I just hope I can remember what to do!
thanks for dropping by!

WOYWW

These weeks are flying past and still no crafting from me! I am determined to get crafty in the next couple of days, I am having serious withdrawal symptoms!
So, in absence of anything crafty to show for WOYWW, here is my brand spanking new desk which has so far not seen a bit of paper other than this pile of photos that need sorting.  I found them in one of the packing boxes and don't know where the removal peeps found them!
This desk was going to be my laptop desk but when I realised there was no good place for the printer I decided it would make a much better creation station!
Still have a few boxes to unpack yet, luckily the cupboards and drawers are still empty so still got a little bit of storage to go!
The wildlife pic of the week, a moth resting on our porch today. Have no idea what kind it is, had a quick search but no luck! It was pretty big, around an inch and a half long!
if you would like to join us in showing off our desks this week pop on over to Julia's blog for details!

WOYWW

As you can actually almost see my desk this week thought I would try to join with WOYWW!
I am still in chaos with the unpacking etc but trying to sort out my craft room this week.  Hoping that the day I get to create again won't be too far away!
For those who don't know, we moved into our new house a couple of weeks ago and are simultaneously trying to decorate the whole house and unpack and get settled in!  Not an easy task.  We managed the top floor the week before we moved in so that was the easy part, decorating once furniture and boxes are in not so easy!
My storage is different in this room as my last craft room had a large built in cupboard so I had to get some more storage cubes.  Next, I need to get a second desk which hopefully you will see in action next week.  I like to keep my laptop and printer off my creating desk as I need as much space as possible especially for layouts.
Not sure that this cupboard fits in here.  My new desk will be white and will sit alongside it so I am contemplating painting it white to fit in better.  My only concern is it has a very distressed finish which I am not sure will suit a white look.
Have to show you who else lives in our new house!  This is Mom and baby raccoons! Not managing to get good pictures so far as they only come out when it is almost dark. They are living in our roof but the space they occupy isn't over the main part of the house thankfully, I did hear them one night when I got up to see to our dog and they are noisy, sounded like we had a couple of bears up there!
Looking forward to having a catch up with the WOYWW girls on my tea and coffee breaks, at least I am getting breaks now, the past couple of weeks I have been eating and drinking on the run!
Maybe in the next couple of weeks I will get a moment to create something!
If you want to know more about WOYWW go and visit Julia's blog for details!
