WOYWW

Finished a couple of projects yesterday,  so my desk is pretty clear for the moment.  I am about to go searching through my papers for my next layout!
Some scraps still remain, as does the card I made yesterday, you can see it properly here along with the layout I created with it!
The maltesers are one of a few English chocolates I brought back from our trip.  I can buy them here but they are so expensive.  I am hoarding them just now, only breaking into them when I need to.  Today, I needed a chocfest! Well, a malteser fest really!
The badge on my desk is from the football game we went to on Saturday, my very first and I have to say I enjoyed it more than I expected to, even started to understand it, just a little!  Come Superbowl I might watch some of the game and not just the adverts!

On my desk this week is this photo journal book I picked up from a Yard Sale quite a while back, I am sure it was only about 50 cents!  I couldn't believe my luck, it is archival safe too!
I have a dilemma, should this become my December Daily for 2012 or should I keep the front intact and make it an album to document our recent house move with all the before and after pictures.  The picture on the front is very appropriate to where we live so I wouldn't alter it.
The pages inside are black and there are also lined sheets in between so plenty of journaling space.

What would you do with it?
Hope you will show us your workspace this week, pop on over to Julia's blog for more details on WOYWW and the links!

Are those washi tapes I see beside the spice rack? Pretty! I love chocolate but alas I am sort of allergic to it. Happy Wednesday!

Think you'll probably get more use of the book as a journal, rather than just 'another' photo album?
And Maltesers, yum :P You are very disciplined, rationing them like that. You must be a Woman of Iron Will!!!

A desk good and tidy. Maltesers are abit like marmite you either love or hate. I'm in the hate, love chocolate but not maltesers. Fran #90

What a great idea to use it as a journal to document the house move. But then I am a scapper.

Ooh Maltesers! Hubby is off across the pond, I was craving a little box of Roses for some reason!! Love the photo journal as it is so I vote to use it for your house move. I haven't tried the Gina K paper, but when I swapped with Eels, she uses it and I know she uses Prisma's (like you I think?), so it should be good. $6.95 for 25 sheets, not sure if that's rally good value or not but it's incredibly heavy weight. All I need now is a set of Prisma's!!

PS. DId you see Michaels have 8x8 MME pads on sale this week 2 for $8? I'm heading there at lunchtime, lol!!

Maltesers!!!! SO jealous! I would definitely use the album as the house move journal! :-)

I vote for an album of your house move, Deb. The picture on the front demands it, don't you think, since it fits your situation as it is? I mentioned you in my post today, hope you don't mind! Have a wonderful week! Darnell #132

Your desk is so clean! I think you should use it for the photos of your move! You will likely want to do something more handmade for your December Daily album!

Went to Mike's, the MME pads are the 6x6 but they're still good value at $4 each. Might go back tomorrow and get a couple more!!

I love bargains like this from garage sales and thrift stores that go from trash to treasure in the hands of an artist! It's such a nice little squares shape--I'd be so tempted to document my house stuff with it. Either way, can't wait to see what all you do with it! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #36

I think it would be perfect for your house pics. Oh, I fancy some chocolate now :) Sharon #72

Well is that odd or what! I went back to the Mike's website and those MME pads are now listed as $6.99 each, reduced from $9.99, but yesterday they were 2 for $8, and my local store was selling them at that today. I reckon someone made a mistake, and I wonder if I went back tomorrow whether they'd be $6.99 now!
