WOYWW

My desk is getting messier each week, very soon will come a blitz but not for the next week or so I predict!
Busy sorting out other things, emptying boxes like a maniac as I am determined to be all unpacked within the next couple of weeks ready for the Christmas preparations!
My December Daily's  (last years and this) are to the left along with some photos to put in last years.  My little drawer of Whimsy dies.  In the centre a card I am working on.

Tried this little experiment today, making acetate stars but unfortunately the paint didn't stick, it crumbled when I moved them!
What is on your work desk this Wednesday?
If you want to join us pop on over to Julia's blog!

Happy WOYWW. Good luck with your unpacking. Shame about the stars - they look so pretty. Ali x #72

good luck getting everything unpacked and in place for the holidays! I tried the paint, glitter glue, gesso etc on the acetate and ended up going to alcohol ink cause it was the only thing that would hang on and not crumble off! I also used ultra sticky tape and glitter on some and that seemed to work. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie #63

Busy busy desk! Hope you get all your unpacking done in time. I tried the acetate painting too - frustrating, isn't it?!?!?

You say messy, I say creatively chaotic! Hope you have a more successful acetate star experiment soon - it's a great idea! Happy WOYWW!

Aww, that's a shame that the stars didn't work out - they look as if they should have!! Still better to have tried than not :)
Thanks for dropping by!

I am gradually learning that 'messy' is how we all seem to work and that 'messy' obviously should become a positive word!I love all your storage things...I am always looking for more effective ways to store things. x Laura #116

I'll be interested to see how the acetate star saga continues/turns out! good luck with the unpacking, although personally I think if it's been in a box for a year then you don't need it .. .. I have a loft full of boxes like that!

With your determination, Deb, you'll get it all unpacked and sorted out and then blast through your craft space, I'm sure! It wouldn't surprise me if you even got the points on the stars to work!!

Have a great couple of weeks as I won't be on WOYWW next week with Thanksgiving keeping me in the kitchen! Darnell #41
