WOYWW

This is what is on my desk today!
My daughter got a new embroidery machine (not the machine in the picture, that one is mine) a few weeks ago so she can make custom t-shirts.  She stitched the embroidery on this pocket and I am stitching the pocket on the t-shirt.  This will be the first of many as she wants to make them for her friends in college too!
She heads back to college next week.  I am going to miss my crafting BFF, have so enjoyed sharing my craft room with her this summer!

For those of you who enjoy the seeing the hummingbird photos here is a little movie I made!  We have so many of them visiting the feeders now, it gets a little crazy out there.  See for yourself!

The feeder was almost empty but not quite, I refreshed it right after this and it was gone within a day!
*************
Hope you can join us this week, for more details and links head on over to Julia's blog!

You are definitely going to miss your BFF crafting buddy/daughter when she heads back to school. What a fun thing to make for her sorority sisters.

What a fun video, Deb! Aren't they funny little creatures? We have had "Hitler" for years and this is the first year he seems to have a family and now there are three coming to the feeder - one is defo a wee babe. We rarely ever see more than one slurping at a time tho, they still dive-bomb each other! I'm filling my feeder every third day and we used to go two weeks between filling.

You fun to have an embroidery machine. Those T-shirts will be the hit on campus! You made me sad thinking of how much you will miss her! Happy WOYWW! Darnell #19

My mom is my BFF even at 45 years old. We are in the opposite position, I go back to teaching school and leaving here to her own affairs with hopes her friends will keep her busy. We lost my dad in December. Mom and I both have embroidery machines too. Sounds like we would all get along very well. Race?! Kim 26

Well done with the embroidery, I wanted to do that a few years back, had nobody to show me how the machine worked and I just did not understand so sold it last year.

Love your humming birds, so lucky to be able to watch them so often, even if they do give you hardship to photograph, be well worth it though.

Hi Deb
Like you I am going to be losing my best friend and crafting buddy as my daughter is heading off to uni.
I sat in my craft room crying my eyes out last night just thinking how much I will miss her. Mind on a plus side my craft room will be so tidy without her.
love the birds video
Enjoy WOYWW today and have a great week

Great tshirts, it'll be sad to lose your daughter again for a while but great that you enjoy spending time together. Love the hummers, ours visit us singularly, may be the same one each time so it takes ages for the feeder to empty, in the mean time it tends to attract wasps!
