A spoonfull of sugar ~ for the boys

Here is my card for this week's A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge the theme this week is
One for the boys!
Our super talented Camilla has donated a fab new stamp for the candy this week, a Sweet Art Ebony stamp from Sugar Nellie.
I have used my new Karate Kid stamp from Sugar Nellie, it was waiting for me when I got back from holiday and I knew it would be perfect to use for this challenge.
I have coloured it to look like my nephew who is becoming a teenager in a couple of weeks, he even has the yellow belt so that was the inspiration for the colour scheme. Luckily, I had this fabulous Crate paper which has hints of yellow in it but still looks like masculine.
I did do a bit of stamping on the paper as it looked a little bare at first.
The fab coins came in my lovely little birthday package from Camilla.

Supplies: Cardstock ~ cream textured, DCWV textured white core
DP ~ Crate 'new garden collection'
Stamps ~ Sugar Nellie 'Karate Kid', Autumn Leaves 'ticketed' 'for the record 2' 'big swirls'
Embellishments ~ coins and photo corners in RAK from Camilla, Dovecraft brads, photo turns and ribbon from stash, photo hanger from hardware store

    Wow Deb!! Great card! I love all the tickets, and charms and brads and picture holders, etc., etc. on this card! You've been able to put it all together and it looks great! (I always have trouble with alot of elements, one thing I have to work on..) Amazing job!

    Great guy card, Deb. I love the swirls, tags, and all the extra hardware you added to really add to the masculinity of the card. Wonderful coloring, too. Beautiful! :) Kelly

    what a great card, Deb. I love the little coins hanging off to the side. And, the stamping on the background paper really did bring it to life. how fun that you got to match the belt to a real-life connection. Great card and the tickets are such a great addition to the page!

    Everybody was...this song is just running round in this ole brain!! I took my 2 nephews to see Kung Fu Panda at the weekend and they loved it! I love your card...perfect for the guys!!
