If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from Simonne's blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Chris's blog.

The hop starts today (Wednesday February 9th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday February 16th at noon EST.

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Grand Prize 1 will be for those who help us advertise the hop, and Grand Prize 2 will be for those who hop along with us. Also, we have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! I'm not going to tell you where they are, so if you haven't found them you'll just have go back to the beginning and start hopping! *wink*

For my card I used the incredibly adorable 'Valerie's Spring Rain' and 'fancy bench', these are two seperate stamps so I had to mask off Valerie and her kitty and stamp the bench over to create this sweet little scene.
Both stamps are designed by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy.

I used my brand new Prismacolors for this image, my first time with them so will take a little more practice, particularly in the face which I did first, I was a little more confident by the time I coloured the wooden bench.    I used them rather like Copics blending in the darker shades with the lighter pencils and when all else failed I used a colourless blending pencil.  I bought the 72 pencil tin and am so happy with the range of colours.

For my project, I decided to make a book card.  I love these cards as they have plenty of room inside to add little pockets for treats and gifts!
I created a tutorial for the Whimsy Inspirations Blog last year so if you would like to see how they are made you can check it out here!
I thought the image was perfect for an 'under the weather' card so added tissues and lip balm along with a  matching bookmark, perfect to send to someone who is feeling a little unwell!

These are the amazing Postage Stamps designed by Ann Vento aka Raindrop Echo Designs and also using the new Whimsy Postage Stamp die to cut them out!

The back has my custom signature stamp also available from Whimsy Stamps!

The little matching bookmark also tucked inside the pocket.

So now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Crystal's blog!

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy the new releases!
