WOYWW

The weeks are flying by, that is the first month over with, not sorry though, January is my least favourite month of the year!
Wednesday again, means it is time for WOYWW!
This week I am enjoying colouring.  I am working on my shadows and creating some depth on my images, inspired by this lady, just look at this amazing colouring!
You might be wondering why I do all the faces first.  I use Copics for the flesh tones, no good reason other than my preference,  then I do everything else with my Prismacolor pencils.

(photographed Tuesday cos Wednesday morning is too dark and yucky!)
If you would like to more about WOYWW or would like to play along visit Julia for all the details!
Thanks for dropping by!

  1. Gorgeous colouring - interesting that you use prismas as well as the copics. I must admit that my prismas have taken a back seat since I invested in more and more copics and promarkers, but you might have just prompted me to get them out again because I used to love using them - (Hazel, WOYWW #8) x

  8. I only have one copic marker as you can't buy these markers here in the Philippines. My sister gave me prismacolor pencils for Christmas and I love using them for shading! Lovely work you've done! Patsy from

  31. Your colouring is fab! Interesting way of doing it too.

I'm attempting to get around everyone's posts this week (a new one for me!) I don't usually have time to get round everyone.
But I haven't done my own post yet - it'll have to wait til I get home from work this evening.

  48. Wow I never knew you used pencils for most of your colouring, I always thought it was copics all the way. I really need to look into some good pencils, I love my water colouring but sometimes want something a bit brighter, although last week I discovered I can water colour with Marvy markers too and they came out nice and bright.
