WOYWW

I managed to clear off part of the table last week only to fill the space with project life stuff!
This does have a home but I am starting to gather up bits for my up coming retreat.  I like to make a pile to check through before I start to pack!
Project Life seems like a very convenient thing to work on while on a retreat.  I only need my packages and photos (you can see, I have one or two of those too)!
The tin, stamp and metal embellishment pack are a pressie from the hubster, (I know, I trained him well!) they are most likely going to be packed up to come to the retreat.
I love the stamp it says 'One of the secrets of a happy life is continuous small treats'
The other packages to the left are some bits I picked up from Michaels today, along with my second PL card pack as I thought they would be perfect to work alongside my PL cards!
The orange card and black ribbon are the remnants of a project I just finished, you will be able to see it on Thursday!
I hope you can join us this week, pop on over to Julia's blog for more details and link ups!

  3. Snow, yikes! It's been all over the place here but this week is a last hurrah as it's about 70F each day and sunny. The retreat sounds like fun but I'd never know what to take and what to leave! Nice hubby you've got there! Although I can't complain, I get a hot cuppa every morning, my lunch made for work and my bag packed and put in the car each day! The little wotsits I'm making are a lot of fun but very simple! All will revealed in due course!!!

    Hugs

  10. That sentiment made me laugh! The term 'treat' does alter as I age though.....sometimes it's a case of just seeing something that makes you happy! Have fun at your retreat!!

  21. Totally agree about the PL stuff...perfect for retreat and so much easier to pack from kit form! I see you've got something from the Martha range there too - I succumbed myself..and they sit unused and unopened after a fortnight - bad!

  31. I had to go give myself a small treat after reading that quote. You are right that Project Life sounds like a good project to work on at a retreat. It will keep you crafty busy but not so much that you can't enjoy the company of others.

  34. Love the sentiment. That is pretty much the way hubby and I have lived for 30 years. Singer Brenda Lee did a song 'Little Things Mean A Lot' So true! Like the little gifty from your hubby.

Enjoy your retreat. Travel safe! Creative Blessings ~Kelly #15
