stamp something and truly scrumptious

I may not be around much in the next day or so! Our telephone line and internet are down since a massive thunderstorm last night. We were awoken by such a loud bang and the electricity went off for a few seconds, then the loudest thunder we had ever heard!
Today, everything else seems fine but the telephone line is dead! It would seem that there is no urgency on a sunday!!!! I just hope it gets fixed early tomorrow!
I am using a mobile broadband stick, but it is painfully slow so I will post this and then have to call it a day I am afraid!
Anyway, here is the card I spent 3 days creating and was desperate to show this morning but has taken until now to get some internet access!
I created it for the Stamp Something Challenge which was to use a favourite something, my favourites on this card are the Basic Grey (of course) hardly ever use anything else! Also, this cute little Whimsy boy ' Knight Connor' is my favourite Whimsy stamp, although just wait till next week when the new Whimsy kids come out and I may just have a new favourite!!!

This card is also for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge which had a fantastic sketch to follow! The other part of the challenge was to add handmade buttons, I don't know if I can class these shields as buttons but the sketch was fab and I just had to use it!

This card is a birthday card for my nephew who loves to receive money inside his card, I am sure he will be thrilled to find it in this little pocket and also the roll of Jelly beans! The card is like a book to accomodate the tube and I love the feel of it, so robust and thick!

Here is a close up of super cute Knight Connor, isn't he adorable? I love stamping these Whimsy images, the stamps are a beautiful deep red rubber and stamp perfectly every time!

The shields once again came in very handy as a little extra embellishment without the need for another stamp!

Here you can see how thick the card is, very like a book shape.

The back view!
Supplies: DP ~ Basic Grey 'Archaic'
Stamps ~ Whimsy 'Knight Connor'
Embellishments and tools ~ Cuttlebug and nestabilities, brads, scrappers floss

Thank you so much for your visit, I will be around to visit you back as soon as I can!
