I used the sketch from the Totally Gorjuss Challenge. Not totally convinced I followed the sketch well, I turned it round and got confused! I am very easily confused!

How stunning is this Carousel Horse? Crissy is the most amazing artist and she makes these horses so special, I was gobsmacked when I saw this one for the first time, apart from it being for a good cause I am sure I will lots of future use from it too!

I used the beautiful Whimsy Stamps 'Cool Ride' designed by Crissy Armstrong. Watch out for Crissy's newest stamps being released on sunday, they are so cute!!!! The colour scheme is blue and white to fit into the Stamp Something Challenge this week. Whimsy are also sponsoring this challenge this week so make sure you play along!
This is the cute pocket inside the card for the cocoa to fit into.
I started off using the sketches from Papertake Weekly and Truly Scrumptious, had them both copied on one sheet and must have gone between them, weren't they so similar. Anyway, now it doesn't seem to resemble either one, more a mix of them both! Thanks to all of you for dropping by, hope you have a fabulous weekend! I am hoping for a very quiet one!!!!
I got this adorable image from Denise a while back, gonna have to get this stamp I have loved using her!
I am also entering this card into the Spoonful of Sugar challenge set this week by Karen she gave us a recipe.

The stamp I used is Whimsy's fantastic Winter Raccoons, so love these two critters! You do need to use a Whimsy image to join in the challenge but if you don't own a stamp yet you can download a free digi just visit here!
We have a fantastic sponsor this week 'Kraftin Kimmie Stamps' and the DT examples are amazing as always! Hope you find time to play along!

Today it is my turn to host the prize for the Advent Event and it is this fantastic stamp!

I have seen a few of these chocolate bar covers around and thought they would make a really speedy gift! I created the circlular sentiment in word and then masked it and stamped the Whimsy 'N'ice Friends' image in the centre. The papers are My Minds Eye and the flowers are Prima.
The tag stamp on the back is by Stampin'Up.
Please pop over to see the fabulous Whimsy creation my good friend and fellow Design Team member Debbie has to show today.
I know everyone is so busy this week but hope you will be able to join in, we have another fabulous prize on offer and the other DT members creations are fantastic!
The papers are the fantastic My Minds Eye, I have used lots of this on my cards this year! The image is a very sweet one from Sugar Nellie. This card will be going to my youngest daughter, it is very her with her pink boots and stripey leggings!
It is difficult to show the whole thing as it is soooooo long! Here are some closer views.....
I opted for 'Cool Yule' as 'Merry Christmas' was going to be just too long!
I used my fabulous Cricut machine which has had a very long holiday since we first packed up in July but now it is back and I plan to do another project with it very soon! I was thrilled to find an American plug in the box, how convenient!
Next up is Whimsy 'jolly puppy kisses' from the Crissy Armstrong collection
and the last image I used on my garland is Whimsy 'N'ice friends' also from the Crissy Armstrong collection.
The winner of the fabulous Whimsy Summer Day Emma stamp is...........
Today, it is my turn to offer up the candy! You can win this fantastic Whimsy Stamp called
Be sure to leave me a comment today if you would like a chance to win this adorable stamp. I will be drawing tomorrow morning!
I found an amazing idea on Ali Edwards blog, (thanks Sparkle for pointing me in the right direction), she makes a December Daily every year. Each day in December she creates a page to document all the treats and traditions of the Christmas period.
I loved the idea and decided I had to create one.
I still have a couple of embellishments to add to my pages but this is the second page (need to add the number 2!) it shows the cards I was making and I had to add an image of the Whimsy snowman 'N'ice friends' stamp that I am using for my cards.
This is the first page, had to show off the advent calendars, the reason the kids are so excited for December 1st! Sorry for the blanked out faces, don't like to show pics of the kids on here!
HOw the pages will lie together.
The first page. I am leaving it like this until I get a family photo on christmas day to take pride of place in the centre.
December is a very exciting month at Whimsy Stamps. Each day up until Christmas at least one of the Whimsy Design Team will be hosting the advent event, showing a new card and offering a prize! Check out the Whimsy Website each day for details on who is hosting that day and where the prize for that day is on offer!
The beauty if this card, apart from the speed to make is that it is made from an a5 piece of card folded in half so it fits an ordinary sized envelope. I have also kept it fairly flat, no bulky embellishments so postage costs are kept to a minimum. I have spent a fortune at the post office already this year!

As usual on CCT we have a fantastic prize and the rest of the DT creations are amazing! Hope you find time to play along!
