Cute Card Thursday ~ Fairy Fantastic

The theme this week is
Fairy Fantastic
I don't know why but I am not a huge fan of fairies and discovered that I had nothing suitable in my vast stamp stash! As soon as I spotted this over at Mo's digital pencil I knew I had to use it for this challenge!
The sweet little sentiment stamp is one from the Whimsy Stamps Sentiments Collection Whimsy Circle Postmarks.

I used Basic Grey Bittersweet Designer Paper and the punches are Martha Stewart, flowers all primas.
the other challenges I am entering this card into are
Allsorts ~ brown and pink
Papertake weekly ~ pretty pink
Simon says ~ punch it
Thanks for dropping in, have a great day!

Whimsy ~ Baseball Connor havin' fun

This card fits into lots of challenges for this week! first of all the Copic Colour Challenge which is being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps this week, you could win a $15 gift certificate to spend in the Whimsy Online Store!!!
I used the ever so cute Whimsy Stamps Baseball Connor on this card, I thought this Cosmo Cricket paper was perfect for him, I love it, so boyish and so vintage!
My new mini voltage transformer arrived yesterday and no sooner was it through the door than it was attached to my UK sewing machine and off I went! It has been a bit of a drag having to fetch the large transformer that the kids have been using on the X Box but I missed not stitching on my cards so it was either a small transformer that the kids couldn't use or a new mini sewing machine. Think I made the right choice as I love my sewing machine.
I started off using the sketches from Papertake Weekly and Truly Scrumptious, had them both copied on one sheet and must have gone between them, weren't they so similar. Anyway, now it doesn't seem to resemble either one, more a mix of them both!
The other challenges are
Simon Says...... Shabby Chic
Creative Inspirations.....Distressing

Thanks to all of you for dropping by, hope you have a fabulous weekend! I am hoping for a very quiet one!!!!

Willow drinking hot chocolate ~ autumn

As soon as I saw this image of Whiff of Joy's Willow I knew I had to have it! She is so adorable and she always makes me think of my eldest, this one especially as she also loves her hot chocolate always with cream and marshmallows! With the recent cold wet weather we have been having I was so ready to do an autumnal card! A lucky coincidence that Stamp Something challenge has a fall theme and Papertake Weekly also has an autumn theme! I am so thrilled to have found time to enter some more challenges at last!
I used a very fine wire to make this spiral to decorate the flower and added some tiny beads.
The inside, a fab Studio G stamp again to decorate, simple but effective!
Supplies: Cardstock ~ SU chocolate chip
DP ~ Basic Grey ' Perhaps'
Stamps ~ Whiff of Joy 'Willow with hot chocolate', Studio G 'sentiment and mug', Basic Grey 'Wintertime' , corner stamps unknown make.
Embellishments ~ Prima flowers, Kaiser flower (small cream), other items of unknown origin.

Love makes the world go round!

I made this for the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is 'blue and green should never be seen'. I just bought these papers last week and have been so looking forward to using them. I so love vintage style patterns. They are K&Co Classic from the Margo range as is the Grand Adhesion sticker. I used my sewing machine to do the stitching, the fancy stitching is called fagoting stitch. I used this image I received from my SBS 4 sister Chris, thank you Chris I was so looking forward to using her. I am still waiting for my new ones from Magnolia.

Supplies: Cream and brown cardstock, K & Co Classic Margo DP, K & Co. Grand Adhesions Classic Margo, Magnolia Stamp.
