We were given this owl to colour at the recent Whimsy Stamps Weekend Workshop where the lovely Emma demonstrated colouring him for Whimsy artist Crissy Armstrong.

I also used these fantastic

I am going to be using them a lot!

I just recently bought the 
Tartan Plaid Background Stamp 
and I must say, it is my new favourite!  I had fun playing around with different colourways!  I achieved this effect by inking up parts of the stamp using my Misti then cleaning the stamp and inking other parts. 
I also used the envelope edger die set and the 
 Quick Strips Die Set
