Cute Card Thursday - A stitch in time

One of my favourite themes at Cute Card Thursday this week -
A stitch in time!
Not often do I make anything without a  bit of stitching !
This is a very simple bookmark, I don't like to add 3d embellishments that would make my book bulge!  The stitching helps to add more definition without the bulk.
I used Whimsy Stamps Lil Montana  by Elisabeth Bell.
The perfect sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Spring Letter Seals by Raindrop Echo Designs.
The card and papers came from my scrap box, I always delve in there when I want to make a bookmark, I am pretty sure these ones are MME.
We have a great prize over at Cute Card Thursday as always, this week we are sponsored by

Photobucket
Hope you can play along!  Thanks for dropping by!

I made my card using the super sweet 'Sun Kissed' stamp!
Now, many of you may know that Elisabeth Bell is my favourite artist, I have many of her stamps from the very early days when she was discovered by Sugar Nellie to more recently with Belles and Whistles!
These may just take over as my absolute favourite Elisabeth Bell stamps!  I can't tell you how thrilled I am that she and Whimsy Stamps have teamed up, it is match made in heaven!  The combination of Elisabeth's extraordinary talent and the quality of Whimsy Stamps make these the most desirable stamps ever!

Spoonful ~ Buttons Galore!

I was honoured to be asked to be a Guest Designer for A Spoonful of sugar this week by Karen who very kindly brought us some sunshine back from her holiday in Spain last week, thanks hun!
The challenge theme this week is Buttons Galore! The DT cards are amazing and they have a fantastic prize to be won!
I made another of my book cards, this time for my daughter, the first time I made a girly one. She loved it! Her eyes lit up when she saw it!
She especially loved the little bag of sweeties!

The images are the fabulous Sugar Nellie 'Sweet and Sassy' and 'flowers' designed by Elisabeth Bell!

The papers are Basic Grey 'Lily Kate' and Doodlebug

The sentiment is a Basic Grey rub-on

I created a little box to attach so that the sweeties had a little holder.
Make sure you don't miss Spoonful next week as it is their blogaversary so lots of exciting things happening!

Think I covered all supplies but any questions just shout!
I am back in the garden today, just loving the sunshine, lots of jobs to do out there but they are never a problem if the weather is good! Hope you are having great weather too!
Have a fabby day!
