WOYWW

A quiet WOYWW this week, kids are back at school!  Even though it is still pretty hot there are obvious signs of Autumn, the mountains are starting to change colour from green into reds, oranges and yellows, so pretty but so early!  The weather man says the change is due to the shorter days and not the temperature, there, question answered!

This week I am trying to categorize my stamps to make it easier to find the ones I need! I am starting with my Whimsy ones as  they are the ones I have most of.  

 My work in progress this week, colouring an image ready for tomorrow's project.....

a little baby moose staring through the window of my greenhouse room. You can just make out another ear behind him, that is his brother.  There were 2 babies and their Mom on my front lawn!

Time to show whats on my workdesk

 something decidedly floral going on here! The card will be on show later in the week but for now is a secret, ssshhhh!

So, after the moose, last week, received a few comments I just had to show the sequel!

 Friday morning, I was seeing the kids onto the school bus and chatting with a neighbour when this young male darted across the road and down the side of our house.  Now, as our back yard is enclosed with a fence he was stuck!  He had been scared by our neighbour's dogs which is how he ended up there!

 I went around the back to see him from the safety of  the fence when he decided to have a lie down! Right next to our house!

Poor thing, must have had a hard night! I do feel sorry for these creatures, the winter is so hard on them, everything covered in snow for months on end!

I know, I have a tendency to veer off from my workdesk, just like in real life, but if you would like to see more desks and perhaps share yours drop by Julia's blog!

Super late with my What's on your Workdesk Wednesday post.  I was out at my SU class this morning making some very cute Thanksgiving treats.  Will have to show them later!  As always Kathy came up with some amazing goodies for us to make!

Still sitting on my workdesk today is a layout I have been working on for the past week!  Not because it is difficult but I have been so busy with other things, only managing a few minutes here and there to work on it!  I am hoping to finish it today but the day is almost gone!  Kids will be home soon!

So, we have had snow again..... 

spotted these footprints and took a photo to see if I could identify them later.  It seems they may be from a raccoon, they are the critters with 5 toes as are skunks which we do get around here during summer but they are smaller.  The size also corresponds with the raccoon.  

The moose are around in the street again too.....

 Mama moose and her 2 babies, just look at these two right outside our neighbour's window! I took this on Sunday and they were back again yesterday as the kids were getting off the school bus!
