Christmas Wreath

Thank you all so much for your lovely get well wishes. I feel fine now, just got some sniffles left!
Today I went to a floral workshop to make this gorgeous christmas wreath, it is a huge improvement on last year's effort. It was held at a fabulous place with stunning views and they provided a delicious lunch of homemade soup, sandwiches and cake! How perfect!
I managed a card yesterday but can't show it yet as it is for a friend who could check on here so will show after the weekend. Hopefully I will get around for a blog hop later tonight, can't wait to see what you have all been making. Have a great weekend and thanks so much for visiting!

blog candy alert

My good friend Chris is celebrating her blogoversary soon and has fabulous blog candy on offer! Check it out here

sympathy card

Sorry I have been gone so long, I am still busy with the house but taking a day off as I have a horrible cold and can't manage anything too energetic.
I made this a couple of weeks ago when I needed a sympathy card, just never got the chance to upload it.

The image is the gorgeous 'Strawberry Tea' from Sugar Nellie designed by Elisabeth Bell.
The papers are Basic grey from a Wassail pad and the flowers are all Primas.

Glad Tidings

In between painting my kitchen walls I managed to come up with this card. It is too tempting having lovely new stash, just had to have a play!
I followed the Ismaki sketch as it has been ages since I have played along, so long that I didn't realise the sketch was last weeks! Oh well, better late than never! Also as I used my new Basic Grey Wassail papers and the Basic Grey challenge is 'Christmas' I decided to double up, they may be the only challenges I manage to take part in this week, although I would love to squeeze in another card later in the week.
I used this sweet new image from Sugar Nellie 'Trimming the tree' illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. I had to get both tree trimming stamps so watch out for the next one...it is one of my favourite parts of Christmas!

The insideNo ingredients today as I am pushed for time...just shout if you want to know anything! thanks for visiting!
