Here is a card I made just for fun, I was hoping when I started it that it might fit in this week's Whimsy Stamp Challenge but alas this week is eyelets and I don't have any here yet or tools to apply them! I did hear this morning that they are going to deliver our shipped container on thursday!!!! can't wait, and the craft room is almost finished, that brown paint took a lot of covering!¬Can't wait to unpack and be reunited with all my crafty stash!
You can see a fabulous distressing tutorial over on Whimsy Stamps Monthly
it has been created by Whimsy designer Ann Vento this month, if you play along do leave a link to show us what you have made!

I used Whimsy Stamps Princess Emma and the Princess Coach. they work so perfectly together! The papers are Basic Grey Wisteria, the flowers are Primas and the pretty lace is from Wal-mart! the great sentiment seal stamp is by Cat's Life Press.

ICS Haunted Halloween

This cute paper kit by My Mind's Eye arrived yesterday in the mail and I couldn't resist having a play last night. Everything on here was in the kit, apart from the basic cardstock and the stamps I used on the inside which are Clear Art Stamps.

I used the sketch from this weeks Inspirational Card Sketches #35. I have been wanting to play along for a while now, so glad I got the chance this week!
I made this cute little matching bag of candy with some leftover scraps and tiny clear bags. The M and Ms are special halloween ones which matched the paper perfectly!

I bought the huge butternut squash this morning, I couldn't believe the assorted squash you can get here, can't wait for Halloween to decorate the porch and stairs with all different squashes!

A couple of people asked if my stash had arrived yet, well, the boat is due to dock today so fingers crossed for an early clearance of customs and delivery, don't think it will be here much before next friday going off our air freight delivery but you never know!
I am painting my craft room this weekend ready for the arrival so I can put everything away asap!
Have a great weekend!

Whimsy Stamps Challenge~buttons

The Whimsy Stamps Giraffe is such a perfect shape and size for a bookmark and my daughter is badly in need of one. In fact all the kids are, they are reading loads more since our move here..a very good thing! I decided as I went along that this is looking more boyish now so I will make some more, one for each of them and this will be for one of the boys!
The Whimsy Stamps Challenge this week is to use buttons! I had to keep them small on here so the book will still close!

This quote is from an Inkadinkado stamp set 'kid quotes', all the quotes are so cute, you will see more of them here very soon!

Couldn't resist showing you my latest craft room find, we bought this at the weekend at a Consignment store. I have had my eye on it for a few weeks and it was reduced when we went in on saturday so we had to have it! Can't wait to fill all those drawers with crafty goodies!
Whimsy Stamps have a cute digi image for sale to raise funds for Paige a 13year old girl involved in a boating accident who has since has part of her arm amputated. You can send Paige a card and register with Erin for tons of blog candy for doing so!
You can read what happened to Paige here

CCT ~ Hidden Treasure

Hidden treasure
Love the theme on CCT this week! I have seen some fantastic cards already today! I am way behind with my posting today as it is already evening in the UK! I blame it on this time difference mallarkey! Of course I did have a browse around a lot of shops this morning so that might have something to do with it too!

I spotted this project on Michelle Wooderson's blog the other day and knew it would be the perfect gift for a friend who has helped me out here! It was so quick to put together too!
I used rub-ons for the front of the mug (this means it has to be handwashed)!
My proper crafty stash hasn't arrived yet so I still have no die cutters or punches so I borrowed my son's compass and drew 3 circles and hand cut them. Then I roughed up the edges to disguise the imperfections!
I used my rub-on lollipop stick and covered it with paper! Luckily, I have my embossing tool so can still use my rub-ons!
I had this SU hodgepodge hardware in my essentials box luckily!
The papers are Basic Grey 'June Bug' and Cosmo Cricket
My hidden treasure inside the mug!

Stamp Something - Alligator Purse

The Stamp Something challenge this week was to use your favourite embellishments. I have lots of favourites, infact embellishments are my favourite part of any card but if I am forced to choose, and I am, I would say metal charms. I have added a few to my Alligator Purse Memory holder.
I used the very cute Whimsy Alligator to my holder, he is such a dream to colour.
The Whimsy Website has been revamped and looks amazing!
You can see the new release of Pet stamps which are available to preorder as a set at a great low price!

I bought a cancelled check wallet at Staples this morning, knowing it would come in handy for something. I altered it so it can be given as a gift with photos inside.

Supplies: Stamps ~ Whimsy Stamps 'Whimsy Alligator'
DP~ Cosmo Cricket 'Girl Friday - Sunday'
Basic Grey 'offbeat'

I have been working on this card for days, the paper piecing took forever and of course I had to keep putting it down to get on with the moving into the house.

Couldn't resist showing you my Yard Sale find from saturday! This is my new crafting table! It is huge and was such a bargain! We found a few other things but not crafting related so I will spare you, love Yard Saleing, we go out super early get our brekkie from Starbucks and off we go! I even got a pair of skis this week.....that was bittersweet though as that will use up some of my precious craft time!*!*!
Hope you all had a great weekend and those of you in the US a great holiday weekend!
