Stamp Something ~ Guest Designer

I am a guest designer this week for Stamp Something, what an honour, I love this challenge and try to play along each week if possible!

This week they have a recipe!

I decided to make a bookmark for this challenge, I want to make a few more of these as they make a great little gift to add in with a card, especially if using the same papers and similar images!

I also messed it up by distressing the edges and scrumpling up my circular flower so that it fit into the Saturday Spotlight challenge which is being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps this week.

The very cute owl on my bookmark is a Whimsy Stamp, he was one of the first stamps I received from Whimsy and I still love him!

The books are from Whiff of Joy, they are gorgeous, they will be featuring on a few more of my bookmarks I am sure!

I coloured them both with distress inks for a change, it was great to get the paintbrushes out again!

I decided to make a wall hanging to celebrate Easter

I spotted this saying on a picture in a store and couldn't resist using it.

I used the bunny from the Whimsy Stamps Bunny and Snowman stamp, he always gives me a giggle, he has such a cheeky face!

This turned out very clean and simple, not my usual thing especially so much yellow but I was so in a yellow mood! I decided to make another small circle easel card as the one I made the other week was so quick and simple and I am chasing my tail this week.

Isn't she adorable? As soon as I saw her I had her in mind to make this anniversary card for our friends.

I used the gorgeous sketch over at Truly Scrumptious, it was so perfect for this image! I used my new SU corner punch, have the border punch too but just can't seem to co-ordinate them..it is me, I know it is! One of these days I will learn how to use them together!
The other challenge I made this for is Your Next Stamp Challenge which asks for spring colours!

I couldn't resist making some little gifts to go along with my card and as I had plenty of scraps left it was easy to make them straight off. I made a little candy goody bag and a tea bag holder. Could have easily gone on to make more but decided really it was time to clean the house!!!

I used the gorgeous Best Wishes stamp and also one of the swirly frames from the Oval Snippets set. I used the edges of the swirly frame to create a swirly border around all the edges of my layers, it worked a treat!

The DP I used is The Paper Company 'Secret Garden Blossoms'

the flowers are a mixture of Primas and Wild Orchid Crafts and some punched out flowers.

This was my original card for this weeks CCT spots and dots theme but then I got the chance to use a Phindys Place digi image (this weeks sponsor of CCT) and couldn't resist making another.

This is the thank you card for my kids' ski instructor, they are having their last lesson with him today and they have done so well in 5 weeks! They are better than me (not saying much)!

I kept it simple, after all it is for a man and you know what they're like!
