Cute Card Thursday ~ Renew, reuse, recycle

Here is my creation for Cute Card Thursday.  The theme this week is Reuse, Renew and Recycle!

I used an old tag from a garment and the two ribbons on the handles were from some gift packaging.

The image is a Whimsy digital image by Crissy Armstrong called 'Maya making wishes', she is such a sweetie! I also used the fabulous Whimsy stamps ticket sentiment stamps designed by Ann Vento aka Raindrop Echo Designs.   Whimsy have a brand new digital release coming up next Thursday July 1st, I can't wait to see them all!  I am unfortunately stepping down from the Whimsy Design Team officially next week so won't be taking part in the release but I am so excited to see the new images!

Think of me this morning, I am at the dentist sorting a tooth that has been giving me pain for 2 days, I had to give in, even though I dread going! Hope you are having a better day!

Cute Card Thursday ~ A Sketch by Claudia

WE have a fantastic sketch over at Cute Card Thursday this week by Claudia.

Apologies for the very simple card, I made a different card originally then discovered I had followed the wrong sketch so managed to whip this one up in a half hour, some kind of miracle for me!  I did already have the image coloured so that helped!

Cute Card Thursday ~ Anything but a square

The Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week is asking for anything but a square.  I know this looks a little like a square but when it is opened not so much!  I didn't have time for anything more creative unfortunately!

I used this super cute little fellow, 'Happy Little Gnome' from Whimsy Stamps, a digi illustrated by Melissa Jenkins.

If you saw my post from yesterday you will know why I am not around much, have family visiting from the Uk and also it is now school summer vacation so we are busy, busy, busy.  I will drop in with a card from time to time and visit when I can but just can't promise anything!

Nothing, it is as bare as Old Mother Hubbard's Cupboard!

Just dropping in to let you know I am not going to be around very often in the next few weeks.

It is school Summer Vacation here now and  we have family visiting from the UK so I won't have much time for either creating or blogging! 

I do have  a card for CCT for tomorrow and I will try to drop in weekly but we will see!

Whimsy Challenge ~ new digi release

Here is my Whimsy Challenge card, the theme this month is summery cards with the option of bugs.

I used one of the new Whimsy digital images illustrated by Crissy Armstrong.  This one is called 'Walking with Daddy'.  The sentiment has been created by Ann Vento to co-ordinate with the images.
