It's not about the money, money, money......

This  week on Cute Card Thursday the theme is

Brass in Pocket

some suggestions for the theme are pockets, use metal charms etc or anything to do with money.

I went with the money as I have been wanting to make a paper wallet for a while.  I decided to make a minecraft wallet card for my son's birthday as he is crazy about minecraft.

 Lots of stitching detail but otherwise I tried to keep it simple!

I am in the middle of a card, unable to show the finished article until Thursday but here is a sneak peek!

Also, some scraps from a card I made yesterday!

The knitting is coming along nicely although the cardigan is getting heavy so can't do as much in one go, the scarf is also growing slowly.  I will try to remember to photograph them next week!

 Lots of birds around in the garden just now.  This is a red headed sparrow.....(edited to say found a better source for identification which claims it is a male house finch) guess the red headed sparrow is an urban legend!

 and a chickadee about to fly off with it's lunch!

Not the best pictures but I do love how this one's legs are just hanging there!
