Showcase Day 7 Whimsy Stamps release

Hello and welcome to Day 7 of Whimsy Stamps November Rubber Stamp and Die Release Showcase!

 On Wednesday (21 November) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 27 November the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

The stamp is Snowflake fairy princess by Crissy Armstrong coloured with prismacolor pencils.  Also on my card I used the Snowflake border die which I double layered and the Snowflake mini seal die with the snowflake mini letter seals.

Sorry I am so late WOYWWers.     I am busily getting ready for a huge feast for tomorrow!  

I love Thanksgiving, I make a replica of Christmas lunch complete with Christmas puds and crackers but it is a day when I can concentrate solely on the meal and not have any of the other Christmas Day distractions as much as I love them on the day!  We will then of course, veg out in front of some good movies while we digest a month's worth of food!  It is extra special as our eldest is home from college, I am loving having all my baby birds back in the nest!

Onto my desk.

This is what I will be working on the rest of the week  today! I am hoping it will be ready in time for the 1st!

My desk is getting messier each week, very soon will come a blitz but not for the next week or so I predict!

Busy sorting out other things, emptying boxes like a maniac as I am determined to be all unpacked within the next couple of weeks ready for the Christmas preparations!

My December Daily's  (last years and this) are to the left along with some photos to put in last years.  My little drawer of Whimsy dies.  In the centre a card I am working on.

Tried this little experiment today, making acetate stars but unfortunately the paint didn't stick, it crumbled when I moved them!

Cute Card Thursday - Sketch

We have a simple sketch over on Cute Card Thursday this week.

You can keep it very clean and simple or like me you can add whatever you like to it!

I decided to use the sketch to get my December Daily started.  

The stamp I used is Whimsy Stamps Little Cottage Cutie 'Apple Blossom's skates' by Elisabeth Bell.  I have coloured her with Prismacolor pencils.

I don't know about you but once Bonfire night (Nov 5th) is done I am 100% Christmas in everything I do!

Someone else is the same because I spotted a garden tree adorned with lights for the past couple of nights, fabulous!

The weather has remained calm and unseasonably warm, not that I am complaining, but we are expecting a very cold snap with snow by Friday, that should make me feel even more festive!

Now is the time to launch into my December Daily.  

So that is what you see on my desk today WOYWWers. 

My Authentique papers ready to cut into and my 2 chipboard pieces for the covers.

You can check out the finished book (although of course empty and ready to fill) on Thursday.

As soon as I saw these papers I knew I had to save them for my Daily!  Aren't the numbers perfect?

 The tedious part, making and attaching the reinforcers!

 a snippet from last year's December Daily!  I only got to day 10 before December became too busy to keep up and I am absolutely done with Christmas by January so couldn't bring myself to finish it then.   I have just sorted some more piccys to complete it so hopefully it will be finished before this year's begins!
