WOYWW

Wednesday again means it is time for Whats on your workdesk Wednesday!
This week I am  making my CCT card so if you want to see it finished you can to pop back tomorrow, here is a sneak peek though.....

Admittedly, I did take the picture yesterday as at this time in the morning it is horribly dark and I guessed you might like to see the sunshine streaming in. Those are blinds by the way, not prison bars!
********
Here is the finished layout I was deciding on last week, I finally picked out some Bo Bunny papers that matched my son's shirt!  I had such a job matching papers to my Christmas photos this year, next year I am going to make everyone wear black and white on Christmas Day!
I used a fabulous sketch from the Scrapbook Steals Midweek Mojo, this one is Garnet 1, they are now up to Garnet 7 so I am a little behind!
So, last week I was preparing for the snow and boy, did it come!
This shovel became buried just on Saturday night, the kids had played with it on Saturday afternoon and left it there, when we got back from our basketball game we found over a foot of snow on our drive!  Hubby had to snow blow just to put the car away!  He would have driven through the foot and a bit but the winds had formed a snow dune right in front of his garage which was more like 4 foot high!
Brenda commented last week that we should have a snow blower, well we do but it is a monster that runs away with me so I still prefer to shovel.  Anyway, we have steps up the front and to the back yard so we have to shovel those bits.
(These pics taken first thing Sunday morning, before the shoveling!)
Thankfully our snow tends to be very light and powdery so it is very easy to shovel.  The greatest snow on earth you know!
*****************
Hope you will join us in our weekly nose around, if you would like to play along pop on over to Julia Dunnit's blog for the deets!

Whew! Am I glad you were blessed with all that white stuff! My mom is crazy nuts in love with that stuff, they even moved from Florida to northern Michigan so they could have unlimited amounts (usually around 108") of it drop on them and I personally go into immediate dispair when I see it :D. Have fun shoveling!

Goodness, that's a whole heap of snow! I'm envious in one respect and relieved in another. When we get snow here, the whole country seizes up because we're just not used to it.
That's a lovely LO and, for what it's worth, I think you chose the right background colour!

That snow looks wonderful (as long as you do not want o go anywhere). After what we had last year, we stocked up with fuel, a new wood burner, new insulation, things to put on our feet to keep us upright - and what do we get - nothing! Thank you for your visit and your encouragement. Have a good week. xx Maggie #91

Snow. Ew. But it is kind of exciting to see it so piled up though (in a photo, no up close and personal for me!), even on the porch railing! You have a nice big workdesk!!

Really love the layout--the colors work great with the photos. I live in New England and we've barely had any snow this year at all--I'm happy just living vicariously through your photos.

I can't imagine how much of a hassle snow is (none here in this part of Australia!) but it sure does look stunning. I keep thinking how lucky you are!

Love the sun streaming through too ... and giggled at your prison bars comment. Lol.

Take care, M

are you sure about the prison? Making them wear black and white, sounds like prison uniform to me. Very jealous of the snow, we are wet and miserable here today.

Such a beautiful winter you're having, what I wouldn't give that that wonderful snow you have right now. We got a bit of snow last weekend, just enough for a couple of hours of cross country skiing, then on Sunday night and Monday we got torrential rain and thunderstorms. It's been like that all winter sadly, neither one thing or the other. Love the LO with your son, you matched the colours perfectly.

Wow, amazing pics hun! I love the snow when its fresh and clean and crisp. My dogs love it too. We are expecting a little this week I think, but so far this winter we seem to have got off lightly. :)

Love your scrap-page layout and colours. Lovely pics and I like how they tell a story in progression too :)
