WOYWW

ON my desk today, those pretty papers I shared last week, but look, I have cut them and punched out hearts. Unfortunately, can't show the card yet!  I seem to have done a lot of secret stuff lately, lots to share in the next month at least!
The tin is no longer full of chocolate fingers, I am going to keep my large bottles of glue in there now so it is waiting for a make over, see the washi tape around the tin lid, it is a start!
Card is finished now, (pics took on Tuesday for good light etc) and I am now busily creating for a new release next Wednesday!

I can share this card with you, although I am not too sure about it, one I made last week with something else in mind that didn't work out! Rather than scrap it, this was what I salvaged.
It is made with Tim Holtz stamps, MME paper, the sentiment is from a Whimsy Stamps set and the paper is an old dressmakers pattern.

If you are not familiar with WOYWW please pop over to our leader Julia who will tell you how!  You will find many links to other WOYWW-ers and you just might be tempted to leave your own!

You're so right about the stampede on this side of the pond, my hubby was miffed at me because my Valentines Day dinner had to go back in the oven to keep warm cause I wouldn't leave the laptop to come and eat!!! Great desk and the card is really soft and pretty. And yes those are my penguin "time to play in the snow" pj's!!

YAY! A new box! Love it when I can comment :) And love the card! If that is what you "salvaged" then I wonder at the original project! Maybe you were too quick to discard it :)

Such beautiful papers you have on your desk. We promise to sit tight and see what you come up with with them. I like you dressmaker's card just fine. It is such a departure from the pretty pink papers you were using before so maybe that is why it is jarring to you.
