WOYWW

Time once again to display the objects sitting on my desk at the present time (or at least on Tuesday when the photo was taken!) for today is Whats on your workdesk Wednesday!

 Surprise, surprise, colouring again!
The sweetie is one of the new images by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy, isn't she a cutie?  She will be featuring tomorrow (Thursday) here, should I ever get the card finished!
Above is a card I showed on Monday with another of the cuties on.  You can see it better here!
Also, my ever growing collection of My Minds Eye 6x6 pads, can't get enough of MME!
Next to those are a handful of photos that go with the layout I made last week, hoping to make a second page with the rest.
Although not my desk I wanted to share a photo with you of the red sky this morning.....yeah, sheperd's warning.....more snow coming later today!
I am now proud to say I am using my DSLR in manual thanks to an online course from
Practicing like crazy in case I forget so I am snap happy at the moment!
It only took me 5 years to stop using Automatic!  yikes! The course is brilliant, can highly recommend when she runs another!
do pop over to Julia's where you will find links to many more desks and you might even be tempted to share your desk with us!
Thanks so much for dropping by!

That photo is just stunning, and I hope it turns up on a card is the near future. It is too beautiful just to file it away. You are brave using your camera in manual mode. I am not sure if mine will do that easily. It is a brilliant camcorder which also does fantastic stills, so I have never investigated any other settings other than automatic. by the way, the second attempt also failed so I asked the expert, Barbara Gray herself, and she said she was actually using Perfect Pearls rather than the cheap mica powders I had. have a good week. xx Maggie #8

Gorgeous photo deb, you must be really pleased with it and less camera shy to boot! Don't talk to me about MME, I think they've usurped basic grey for me!

I realize I am really late getting here, especially since I am #2. But I have had a terrible time keeping my computer running today. Seems it wants to shut down after I visit one blog. So proud of you getting off automatic. I know I need a new camera, and I am in love with what you are doing.

Happy WOYWW.
