On my desk today is a little cutie from Whimsy Stamps that will soon be transformed into a card using the Authentique paper collection underneath. Above those are my latest purchases, a couple of memory box dies and a lovely pack of travel stamps a la 7gypsies.
This one is for Jan, we rather enjoyed a butterbeer or 2.
Update on the guest room. All dried out now although we did have a secondary leak that we found last night. We discovered that some of the water had come from an outside hose bib that has a hole in the pipe that was inside our walls! No wonder there was so much damage, leaks from two sides! We were just lucky that we turned on the tap last night as it only leaks when it is turned on. The reconstruction part was about to begin today!
Just waiting for the plumber to fix the pipes now and then we should be back on schedule. I can't wait until it is all done, this is totally stressing me out and sabotaging my mojo!
Hoping for a more pleasant picture next week!
If you would like to join in and show us what is on your workdesk this Wednesday pop over to Julia's blog for all the details!

Lol!! Love the butter beer label! Pour me one as well please, I'll be around in 10 minutes with the Pumpkin Pasties ;)
Am glad you've found the problem but oh goodness, what a marathon the reconstruction is going to be. I do feel for you..it's one thing when you've planned something like that, but completely another when it's forced on you...sigh. Still, chin up..it'll be fab when it's finished :)

Oh what an awful job - hope you get sorted soon. We had a leak at the weekend from the cistern in the en suite bathroom - we noticed water squishing up through the parquet floor! All sorted now and so far the floor has stayed flat - we're watching anxiously as it dries out, hoping it doesn't buckle up!!
