WOYWW

I am back from CHA, it feels like it was a dream now!
You can check out my CHA posts below!
I didn't get the chance to check anyone's WOYWW posts last week so I look forward to a catch up with you all this week!
This week I am catching up on some colouring.  I was so inspired at CHA hanging with crafty people and being surrounded by all that lovely stash so I am enjoying having a crafty catch up!
Also on my little colouring table is a cute crate I picked up from Michael's when I went in for some new pencils.  Love that I can buy single prismacolors from there!
I haven't shown any wildlife pics in a while but I have been photographing the hummingbirds this week so thought you might like a peek!
This one is sticking out his tongue!

If you would like to know more about WOYWW or would like to join in this week pop on over to Julia's blog for more details!

More CHA photos

More photos from CHA!
Must admit the Rangers booths were like magnets to me!

CHA

I am still having withdrawal symptoms from CHA!  It was just amazing!
The thing I loved most was meeting these fabulous in real life for the first time.  I have known Denise owner of Whimsy Stamps online for almost 5 years and we always hoped one day we would meet!  Meeting exceeded all expectations, she is as lovely in person as she is online!
CHA was great but spending a whole week with part of the Whimsy family was the best thing ever!
Apologies for being photo heavy!
First day - setting up the booth!

Ellen and Janette making up goody bags!
Tammy's husband got roped in too!
 Ellen and Tammy, almost there!

 Finishing touches!
After all the hard work a fun dinner and a well deserved glass of Chardonnay!
Apparently it was Janette's birthday, the chef was so funny!
The booth, the first morning, right before the doors opened!
We also met the Little Darlings team members - Becky Hetherington
 and with  Fabi
and Sparkle dropped by the say hello, I was so excited to meet her after all these years!
Hitting the town!

All packed up and ready to go!

Cute Card Thursday - Oranges and Lemons

This week our theme on Cute Card Thursday is
Oranges and Lemons
I opted to use the colours but of course you could also use the fruits.  These are not my usual colours so it was nice to break free from the chains and work outside my comfort zone!
We are sponsored this week by Whimsy Stamps which by coincidence is where my stamps are from!
Thanks for dropping by!

WOYWW

I am about to start working on a new project.  You might guess by the bag of shells that this might turn into something of a nautical theme!
If you want to see this finished come back next week, (probably Thursday as long as my scheduling works)!
The frame was in the clearance section of Michaels!  I couldn't believe what a bargain it was!
Here is the rest of my haul!  Almost everything here was on clearance!  I certainly went on the right day! I did actually sneak back later in the day and picked up one or two more things, well at those prices it would be a shame not to!
And something to work on when the sun goes down and the family want to watch some tv.
Now don't look too closely, this is a first, I am learning from You Tube videos.
If you have been putting off learning to crochet like I have (I did know the basics but only by working on a blanket already started) try this Crochet Summer Camp by Slugs on the Refrigerator.  Even clearer than the videos!  Next, I need to learn to follow patterns!

Supplies
Papers - My minds eye Madison Avenue 6x6pad
Dies - Whimsy Stamps Double Scallop doily die, Sizzix alphabet die,

WOYWW

A busy desk to show you this week.
I have been working on finishing the inside of the mini album I was working on last week.  Mini albums take up so much space, I have to have everything out!
This is one I took earlier and finished the inside now thankfully!
Next on the agenda are the many projects I plan to make for CHA!  Yes, I am going to be there this year with Whimsy Stamps! Drop by and say hi if you are going to be there!
Keeping this short and sweet as my internet connection is playing up today so I better post asap!
If you want more details or want to play along pop on over to Julia's blog!
Thanks for dropping by!

Cute Card Thursday - Stars and Stripes

Happy 4th July!
To celebrate the holiday we have a stars and stripes theme this week on Cute Card Thursday!
I used Authentique 'glory' papers as they have plenty of stars and stripes going on.
I decided to finally make something out of my paperbag mini that I started a long time ago and didn't do anything with!
The new rubber stamps from Whimsy Stamps this month were so perfect for this project!
I used
I totally love this set, the passport is amazing as are the little travel stamps!
You can also just see the fabulous Whimsy Stamps Compass Die.
The passport is heat embossed with gold embossing powder to ensure a true looking appearance.
I made sure my passport would open so that some hidden pictures and journaling could be added!
I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp challenge this week where the theme is
patriotic - I am using red, white and blue to represent not only the country I live in but also the country I was born in!
Thanks for dropping by!

WOYWW

I took a little break while we had family visiting.  They left yesterday so I am scrabbling to get things back to normal today!
So, on my desk today...
Centre stage is a little mini album.  I started this a long time ago and have finally decided what to do with it!
Hoping to have this ready to show on Thursday!
The papers I am using are Authentique Glory.
Also there are some new hexagon dies, a bargain stamp pack from TJ Maxx and of course my pencils.  I have managed to do some colouring over the past couple of weeks but not much else!
Looking forward to catching up with the WOYWWers this week after my little break!
If you want to see more or would like to join in go and visit Julia's blog!
