WOYWW

I don't know where the week went!  I didn't get much creating done at all!  I was a bit under the weather all last week which zapped my mojo! I was horribly lethargic which is not me at all, I usually have to be doing 3 things at once!  Anyway, whilst I had no energy I worked on my family tree and ordered some more certificates so at least the week wasn't a total loss!  Now that is out the way I hope I am immune for the rest of the year!
This week I am catching up with some colouring of  stamped images.  I have a great pile waiting to be coloured up for the month ahead!
This one is offered on the Whimsy Inspirations Facebook page as a free digi to join in a colouring challenge.  This time it is pleats! That is something I certainly need practice on so I welcome this challenge!  If you are a Whimsy fan you can request to join the group!
I am keeping some large sheets of packing paper on my new desks now.  I got some pencil marks on one of them which are not easy to remove so I came up with this solution.  I love that I can just jot down any notes or plans right onto my desk!  You might just be able to make out some dates and also a card sketch in the top right!
This was part of our Labor Day celebrations this week!  It is an annual event where golf balls are sold to raise money for charity and are then released down the makeshift race track.  Luckily, we were on a hill!
Once the balls were cleared away a parade followed.  I loved this yarn bombed golf cart!

Back to colouring for me.  What are you doing this Wednesday?  Let us know by popping over to Julia's blog for links and more information!

Lovely shading on that skirt, it would be all one colour if I was doing it which is why I avoid having to colour stuff in at all! Looks like you had a fun labour day with the golf balls! Happy WOYWW Annette #32

I am usually so healthy that I get very affronted when I actually catch the lurgy! I mean, how dare it attack me :-)
We have a similar money raising venture in our next town, where you 'buy' a yellow plastic duck , then a flotilla are set down the stream. Great fun, they swim fast, those little duckies :-)
And wow, I didn't expect that non-UK folks would offer cards, but yes please ad by mid November would do nicely! Thank you x a million,

Labour Day looks a lot of fun, how nice! Love the whole yarn bombing thing. So glad you're feeling better..I think for gals who are constantly on the go it's inevitable that your body forces you into some gentle down time. Don't overdo it now!

Beautiful coloring and crafting. Love the yarn bomb cart too, I had not heard of this until last week when we were at a seaside resort in Somerset England and saw it done there. I was fascinated :)

I put old calendar pages on my desk as a blotter and then 9 times out of 10 I put scrap paper on top of that. I'm always jotting notes to myself on them so I can totally relate. It looks like you had a good time on Labor Day. That golf cart is too silly.
