WOYWW

Very messy desk from me again this week.  I am hoping to get it all cleared off this week although as I am scheduled to decorate my son's room this week I will be relying on paint drying time to do anything else!
Fingers crossed next week it will be immaculate.  I am feeling frustrated trying to work in here, I do much better in a clean and tidy environment.
ON my desk are some  Authentique papers, some Whimsy stamps sentiments and some partly made Christmas cards.  These are now finished and winging their way over to Jan's in the UK for her Women's Refuge Charity.  I will be posting the finished cards on Thursday this week if you care to see them.  I am rather pleased with how they turned out for such a simple design so I plan to make more for other charities as I must confess to not sending many Christmas cards myself!
If you care to join in this week you can get all the details on Julia's blog!

Oh I can't wait to see the cards. I like that pattern on the card. I so need to get started on my Christmas cards.

My desk is usually messy and then I clean and then it gets messy and then I clean. You get the point. But lately I just push things to the side so I can get something done, else I spend all my time cleaning. And by the way, your desk doesn't look messy to me.

Happy crafting.

Good luck with the room as for card making, I think we all try and do the best and we should be thankful that we have done that. I am sure what you have made for the refuge will be perfect and well received. Beautiful papers for your cards.

Happy WOYWW

Oh wow, I can't thank you enough for the cards..how kind of you to send them all the way to Wiltshire! I'm going to pop back tomorrow and check them because I'm mosey and I can't wait!! Yes, I feel Christmas presents too..I'm just like that!! Lol
Good luck with the decorating. I like painting walls, it's the gloss on the doors and skirtings that I detest. And don't talk to me about preparation...so tedious and yet so necessary.
I'm off to Bath today to meet up with Son No 1, yay. And we're going on the train..even more excitement...woohoo :-)

Your desk doesn't look too bad to me, but maybe I am super-messy!! Well done on making cards for Jan, can't wait to see them. Good luck too with the decorating - not my ideal type of painting!! Helen 20

I understand about preferring a tidy desk, not many on woyww do, lol! Hope you get the room painted so you can get back to the real job in hand too. Look forward to seeing the cards for Jan tomorrow, I'm glad she's already popped in, so I can tell you that the pile of cards on my desk this week are for her too. 10 of the 11 I made at the weekend were for her, but she doesn't know! I'll have to have a look in Mikes to see what I can use as a sealer, I was thinking it would protect the rub ons too, plus I'm a clumsy oaf and can see myself chipping the paint or something silly!

So sweet of you to make those for Jan's charity! You are accomplishing more than you know...but I understand how you feel. I like my desk to be a little cleaner than it actually is all the time. Thanks for the visit and happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #5

I like a tidy desk before I start a project but it doesn't seem to happen very often! Well done on making the cards for charity. Hope the decorating goes well. Hugs. Pam#37
