Clearly Whimsy Stamps Day 2 June Release

Hi everyone and welcome to DAY 2 of the ...

This week we are releasing 6 new clear stamp sets and 6 coordinating die/die sets, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and all good Whimsy Stamps retailers from TOMORROW. Yesterday we introduced HAPPY EVERYTHING and DISTRESSED BACKGROUND AND INK SPLATS, and today we are excited to introduce you to SMARTY PANTS and SCHOOL SPIRIT stamp sets and dies!

For my box card, I used lots of the stamps from the School Spirit and Smarty Pants set and also both sets of dies - glasses and bracket dies and mortar board and tassel dies !  I love making these box cards and making a school themed one was so easy with so many stamps jam packed into each of our new clear stamp sets!

Being obsessed still with my silhouette machine I was desperately looking for something with a circle, this seemed to fit the bill!  

It is the door hanger oval I love how quick these projects are!

Being a coffee lover I love all of the coffee themed stamps in these sets.  I also used the co-ordinating dies which are so fabulous coffee cup die set.

Cute Card Thursday - Beside the Seaside

Didn't feel summery here yesterday when it actually full on snowed!  Never mind it is warming up again!

I made this using my silhouette, that machine is so addictive!  Love all the cute little 3d projects you can make.

WOYWW

I am preparing this post in the hope that Julia is back home and well after her keyhole surgery!  It was a shock to find no WOYWW last week which is very unusual!  Nothing deters our Julia.  Nothing except emergency surgery that is!  Hope you are making a speedy recovery Julia!

Anyway, onto this week, on my desk.....my new toy, just arrived today!

 Ideally I would love an antique manual and may even have my very old one tucked away in a box somewhere in my basement but who knows where that would be!

I looked at a few on Ebay but was skeptical if they would work so decided to go new to ensure I could use it for my project life cards!  So far so good!

 Otherwise my creativity is being spent in my daughter's room while she is away in New York with her music school!    Walls repainted, carpet cleaned and new accessories bought.  She already had the black walls but the other 2 were bright pink, now they are red so the accessories had to change!  I would never normally put red anywhere near my walls but I have allowed her to choose her colours since we moved into this house, I must say, I actually quite like the look!

 I picked up this jewelry hanger today and changed the bird's colour using some of Milly's nail varnish!  Quick and easy!  You can just see it hanging on her wall above!

 Loving watching these little cuties!  They are so territorial though, this one is sitting there on guard so no other hummingbirds can come and steal from his stash!

I am thinking of coating this in mod podge so that it is strong enough to be a pencil holder.

WOYWW

It has been a while since I joined in WOYWW!  I went on a little trip to the UK to see my mum who isn't in the best of health and I am only just getting caught up!

I was feeling a bit off this morning so instead of the housework I had planned I spent the day getting to know my new silhouette machine better.  I  was cutting out like crazy in no time!  I have various bits of projects all over my desk, I don't know how I will find all the pieces to each project, yikes!

 This cutie arrived in the mail at the weekend, very excited to try this kit by Alicia Paulson!

I bought it thinking that with the long summer break I might find a bit of spare time on my hands, mmmm, we will see!

 In case you missed it, this was one of the first things I made with my silhouette, love these!

CCT - Perfectly Pink!

It has been a while, we had an impromptu trip over to the UK, I am hoping now we are back things will be settled for a while and normal service can resume!

Right up my street!  I recently invested in a Silhouette Cameo and found this very cute handbag in the Silhouette Store.  It is by Samantha Walker.  

I created on a few weeks back for a teenager's birthday, it was a supercute way to send a gift card and a little something, I popped in some nail varnish.
