This week on Cute Card Thursday the theme is

I found this Boot template on the Silhouette Online Store and had fun decorating it up for Halloween.  The image is a Wee Stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Hazel.

I am also entering this into the 

Whimsy Inspires Anything Goes or Halloween Challenge!

 The boot is a bit fiddly to put together mainly because of the curves, it is best to glue a little and then leave to dry thoroughly before trying to glue more pieces.  In the end it took about 4 days coming back and forth to it!  Worth it in the end though, I love it!  Might have to make another one for Christmas!

Love this sketch and love this paper, it is Teresa Collins!  I started this at the retreat this past weekend but left it unstuck until I got home so I could do some machine stitching on it - my favourite thing to do! 

The retreat was so fabulous, it has got me back into scrapping mode after taking a long hiatus! 

Midweek Mojos Carnation 1 - 4

Just back from the Scrapbook Steals Retreat over the weekend, was so much as fun always.  I have attended every one they have held in the past 5 years! 

I haven't scrapped since last year but I have so enjoyed catching up with these layouts using some old photos.

I spotted this amazing little tool box that Flati (Sonja) designed and had to try it for myself.

I found some old masculine stamps to decorate and added a flat cap and cell phone charm.  

 Sonja has provided both a pdf and also an svg file for those who have a cutting machine.  I used the file on my cameo and it was so quick and easy!

 I love the cantilever action.

 I have always loved to finish off the insides of my cards with a little simple decoration.  I also decorated the back of the card to match the front but of course forgot to photograph it!

Cute Card Thursday - Chocolate!

This week the theme on Cute Card Thursday is

Chocolate!

Never one to pass up some chocolate I had to create something this week!  

I have created similar chocolate bar covers in the past but I found this tutorial for this style of cover. 

 I used a Whimsy Stamps rubber stamp called Marshmallow and Coffee from their Time for Tea range.  Coloured with Prismacolor pencils.  Also from Whimsy Stamps I used their Corner Die set and fancy square die.

 I am determined to use my stash for the next little while as I have obscene amounts of everything, but especially hundreds of stamps which have gone unloved for a long time!  

The chocolate themed stamps are a set from Stampin Up. 

 A little tag inside to write a message to the recipient.  It is created with the Whimsy Stamps  Double Scallop Tag die.

I actually made something!

First time creating anything in almost a year and first time colouring in about 15 months!  

I am very rusty it has to be said but I did enjoy getting back into it!  

Here is a simple bookmark for starters!  I love making bookmarks, not only do I use them then lose them, they are a great way of using up scraps.  This was made up entirely out of my scraps boxes!
