Midweek mojo and MME April challenge

Although I am way behind with the Amethyst Midweek Mojos over at Scrapbook Steals blog (only done 3 out of 9) I had to jump in and do Amethyst 8 with this paper collection and photo.
I thought this would take a lot longer but having the  paper collection (My Minds Eye 'Follow your heart') courtesy of Scrapbook Steals made it come together so quickly.
The sketch was also so perfect to combine with the My Minds Eye April Challenge which was to use
hexagons!

Thank you so much for dropping by!

WOYWW

I missed a week and it still came around super quick!
Time for Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday otherwise known as WOYWW!
I am ridiculously busy with other things, particularly house buying/moving preparations.  That pile of paperwork has kept us busy over the last week or so!
Crafty wise on my desk is a layout I plan to tinker with every now and again when I am having a break, as most of this week I have set aside to clean out all the kitchen cabinets in the hope that when we come to move out all I need to do is give them a wipe out!  That is part of the master plan!
We have moved house so many times now this one should be a breeze, particularly as we are moving only a few yards away!
In case you were wondering the papers I am using are My Minds Eye 'Follow your Heart', just can't get enough MME these days!
This collection is so perfect for the sketch I am using and also for the photo I wanted to scrap!
This was also a reason for my absence last week, we were away in

If you want to play along or have a snoop at some other desks visit our leader Julia for the details!
Thank you for dropping by!

Cute Card Thursday

First of all apologies I am not getting to visit much at the moment.  We just went away on a trip for a few days and are also right in the middle of a house purchase so I have had very little free time lately.  It probably won't change anytime soon either!
Here is my very late Cute Card Thursday card the theme is
Spring flowers
I did cheat as I had this one made earlier, it featured in the Whimsy magazine back in February! It was featured as a collaboration between Whimsy Stamps, Miss Muffet Stamps and Make it Crafty.

We are sponsored this week by
Whiff of Joy who offer the winner a stamp of their choice!

it is a very simple project and very quick to make, a must for me at the  moment!

WOYWW

Although I am ridiculously busy at the moment I did take a couple of hours off this afternoon to make a card and even make a start on a second.  Look at all this blue deliciousness!  These papers and embellishments are Authentique 'journey'.
|I'm making these well in advance of needing them as I know as our move progresses things will get even more crazy!  so, taking a moment while I still have one!
I took a moment in the sunshine on Saturday too, after a few hours backbreaking gardening I might add! Love this pic I managed to bag, and must boast in manual now too!  I took a course with super talented Kirsty Wiseman and can now work my camera like it should be worked!
Believe it or not this little sweetie is almost 8 years old, I get her hair cut very short for summer as she doesn't cope well in the heat and she comes out looking like a puppy again!
Well, I have shown my desk and my garden, what will you show?  clean pics only please, you can link up to our WOYWW leader Julia on her blog!
