WOYWW

So I am finally getting around to creating a layout!
It has been weeks since I made my last one and I have to say, it got off to a slow start,  I nearly ditched it for some different papers.  In the end I just changed the background paper and I like it so much more. You will be able to see the finished layout tomorrow, if you come back!
You can see the sketch I am working from in the bottom left corner!
On my colouring table today is my trusty sewing machine.  Originally bought about 20 years ago to make my bridesmaids' dresses, all it stitches these days is paper!

Hoping you can join us for WOYWW and perhaps share your workspace.  For more deets pop on over to Julia's blog!

Oh, poor lonely sewing machine. I am afraid mine is quite lonely too. Cute way to store your Copic refills.

Ha! I bought a decent machine just to sew on paper. Our desks look very similar this week with the beginnings of a layout and a sketch.

Hi Deb - I have never scrapbooked from a sketch before it looks like a good idea to give you a starting point. I feel I must point out however 'Get a move on girl!' You have a photo jam building up there ;-D Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 22

My sewing machine is getting a real workout today. I am taking a coffee break and doing some blog hopping just to get away from it.
Happy WOYWW!

Looks like you are going to be a busy girl. My sewing machine never, never gets used anymore. I really should move it into my craft room and use it for my cards!

I have yet to use my sewing machine for paper. I don't want to injure the thing at least until after finishing a quilt project started years ago! Looking fab this week!

Oh that stack of pictures looks intimidating. I just recently borrowed a sewing machine, but haven't had a chance to learn to use it to sew on my layouts. One day soon I hope. S #131

Looks like the layout will be a winner, can't wait to see what you do with it. My workdesk is pretty clean cause all my scrapbook stuff is spread out on the dinning room table where I am playing catch-up! I own 4 sewing machines and not one is in my crafting area. LOL
Thanks for sharing

Your machine looks awesome, I wish all mine stitched is paper. I threaded my bobbin and used it once and then something went terribly wrong and I haven't had time to figure it out. I plan to ask my honey bunch to fix it. Believe it or not he's better at some domestic stuff than me! Your space looks ready to create and I feel a little bit better as you seem to have as many photos as I do to scrap!

I really must get with it and try this sewing paper thing... I always think it will look a mess like my sewing did at school lol.

love the sketch you're working from. I may have to 'borrow' that layout.
