DCM Charity begins at home revisited!

I decided I had to do this dare properly so this morning I popped into a charity shop and bought this lovely lot for only £2! I loved it, will definitely be back, those buttons are going to come in very handy for many future cards and the tiny Santa in the pack is actually a single ear-ring which I will pull apart to embellish a Christmas card sometime soon. The thing I love the most amongst my goodies is the pack of tiny pearl buttons on the blue card, very vintage. I bought the wool thinking it might knit up tiny little flowers which I can then use on cards in the future, but you might not see those for a while yet!
The item I chose to use today for the DCM dare is the baby t-shirt, the patchwork patch immediately caught my eye so I trimmed around it and mounted it for my card.

Supplies: Dark pink, light pink and white cardstock, stamps all studio G, bergundy versacolour inkpad, pink embossing powder, dark pink organza ribbon, pale pink floral ribbon, tiny safety pink, pink and clear beads, Papermania adhesive stones.

That is just gorgeous! Thanks for your lovely comment about my tin. I used my Cropodile to make the holes.

How lovely, a gorgeous card - and what a find. I know I have cut things off my daughters clothes before if they were not worth reusing elsewhere - so I have a little stash of things to use but haven't yet!

you did well at your charity shop. that card is wonderful - and it even has an owl on it - one of the "in" things about scrap and card making at the moment(why? I don't know, just is!)

The patchwork from that top is lovely.

Think I should send you shopping for me if you got that lot for £2. Either that or I need the address of your charity shop!
