Welcome to the Whimsy blog Hop to celebrate the launch of some brand spanking new digital images!
Hopefully you arrived here via Crissy's blog, if not you may want to start the hop from the beginning at Denise's blog.
A shorter hop than usual, you only have half the DT to hop around and the other half have created examples for a Whimsy Challenge so make sure you visit the other DT members too!
Be sure to leave a comment on each of the DT's blog hop posts as a winner will be chosen at random from one of the blog posts comments at the end of the hop on Tuesday 11th May.
I am so excited about this launch, not only do we have some fantastic new designs from Crissy Armstrong, a new Whimsy Kids 'Emma' designed by Kevin Lynn, some amazingly clever sentiments from Ann Vento but we also have a fabulous new illustrator who has given us these sweet new Fairy tales line of digital stamps. Her name is Melissa Jenkins, you may have come across her designs before under the name MelJen Designs.
I couldn't resist making a scene with these cute stamps. The new Whimsy Digital images I used are 'Granny Wolf', 'Red Riding Hood' and one of the 'Red Riding Hood Sentiments'.
They are all available to purchase now in the Whimsy Store!
I used the Magnolia house and Magnolia sign to finish off my little scene, along with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used my Martha Stewart punches for the butterflies and grass.
Don't forget that you can enter the Whimsy Challenge. The details are posted on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog, the challenge is a recipe and you have to use a Whimsy image (digital or rubber) to be included in the draw! You have the whole of May to enter, the winner will be chosen on 31st May!
Now to continue the hop go to Patricia's blog!
have a great day!
