Cute Card Thursday ~ Easter

Our theme this week over on Cute Card Thursday is

Easter!

I don't usually make Easter cards so had to try an Easter basket.  I had this lovely blue basket from Christmas and decided it would make a very quick basket by adding a handle and some decoration.  

 I originally made this for the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine issue 7

The image is a rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps by Meljen called Gruffy little gnome.

The clock stamp is by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps it is part of a set called Time Flies!

Can't show what I am working on, it is a surprise, you can come back later to see it if you like!

Instead I will show you what I bought today (Tuesday).

I already have  a few of these purdy boxes but decided I would buy a few more and sort out my crafty cupboards and shelves!  We are currently looking for a new house so all sorts of clearing and organizing going on here!

So lovely to have the sunshine streaming in, although it has been chilly the last couple of days and we did get more snow yesterday, the new stuff seems to be melting away fast and even the old snow is thawing faster now.  We are expecting a little heatwave over the weekend, I am so looking forward to that!

It is the second page of a double page layout!

I haven't decided on the journaling yet, might see if my son has any memories from this birthday that he wants to add.

Because these 2 layouts were photographed at different times the bottom one looks much duller but in actual fact they match up in real life quite well!

 Just what I need to brighten the day, a summery gift bag, after the lovely spring like weather we had last week it is snowing again here!

So I think it is Wednesday again, very confused after losing an hour for daylight savings and having my kids off school sick! Loving the lighter nights but it is a shame to go back to darkness at 6am!

So on my table today is another layout I am working on, I started it last week and  got no  further forward with it.  Happily, now I am beginning to stick things down (photos taken earlier today (Tuesday) to get good light!) so hopefully I will finish it this week!

It has been a busy week, I had some health issues myself last week (all okay now), my youngest boy became sick last Friday and was horribly ill all weekend (still not 100% and has since passed it onto his sister!) and we also had my eldest boy's birthday! So, you can imagine, not much time in my craft room or blog visiting so I apologise if I didn't get around to you last week, will try harder this week!

 I finally jumped onto the Smash bandwagon and got myself a Smash book and other bits and pieces.  Think it will become a bit of a journal/diary/scrapbook for me.
