WOYWW

Not a lot of crafting to show this week, it has been quite a week, more about that in a minute.  I am trying to work on this...... love this box which was once filled with chocolates and will soon be getting a makeover.  It will be on here on Thursday all finished.....I hope!
 My distraction at the moment......
a leak from a waste pipe caused a huge amount of damage in our guest bedroom in the basement.  Of course this is the only room we had finished decorating in the basement since we moved into this house last year!
The walls and ceilings are pretty bad but the wooden floor just buckled upwards and it was like walking over hills and dales.
The restoration guys have been here this afternoon and we now have no floor or skirting boards down there and there are a gazillion fans drying the room out.  It is rather upsetting but I am trying not to think about it too much and just let them get on with it!
The reason for my absence last week, we were away on vacation in sunny Florida.  The wizarding world of Harry Potter was amazing!
But my favourite place of all is Seuss Landing.  I could live there.  I so want a who house to live in.
Who wouldn't want to live on Bliss Street?
My favourite ride, the cute Seuss train.
I have just had a lovely visit with Bernie!  I only found out this morning that she was in the area and she did a little detour from her road trip to meet up with me! I have to say, she is as lovely in real life as she is in blogland!

Looking forward to catching up with all you WOYWWers this week!
If you would like to play along go over to Julia's blog for details!

Oh blinking heck, Deb, what a thing to happen.... :(. I guess the only consolation is that the leak could have been in your living room or kitchen or somewhere..but still, it sucks.
Great photos of Hogwarts.. I definitely want to live there. Fancy a butter beer??

Love the castle, I'd live in it! and your water bubble, is just like my mums! she was sitting under it when I came in and sau=id wow look at that, hubby TOUCHED it, luckily mum had got up but then the next second the ceiling fell in!! Luclily the insurance paid to have the WHOLE of the ceiling redone and painted including coving, the carpet and chairs cleaned and the whole room re painted and the whole room wallpapered!! Glad you weren't under it when it popped! lovely designs, I love drawing those, haven't done any for a while...hope I can comment, if it asks for a password I'll screammmm!!

Have a great crafty week!
Happy Very late WOyWW!

The photos are fab. Harry Potter wasn't opened when we last went in 2006. But we're definitely going when Ellie is old enough.
Shame about the leak. At least it's getying repaired.
Will be back to see the revamped chocolate box.

Aw Deb, the leak expereince is awful, water is so damaging. However, it's over now and they guys are putting it right. It is what it is, and you shouldn't let it upset you anymore. Fab that you got to meet with Bernie..just love this blogging internet thing! Have fun remodelling the box. Hope you ate the chocs yourself!
